I love reading.. that's it, what can I say, it's one of my passions. If you are a lover of reading, then you can relate. Born and raised in Jamaica, I came to America as a teenager. 

Now married and a mother of two teenagers, my number one hobby is reading. I am open to any genre, but I have an addiction to mafia stories and the paranormal. I love books that get my heart pumping or put me in my feelings (I have even shed a tear or two over a good book). Once I completed a good book, I always looked for someone to tell the story to (my poor husband tried to listen) and even joined a few book groups on Facebook but never found an excellent, consistent book discussion. Just frustrating! I know! Finally, I decided to create a blog to talk about the books I liked to read (not always the most popular ones) and share my thoughts. 

My favorite book is "Animal Farm" by George Orwell. I fell in love with that story as a child. I'd like to think I am a cool mom ( my teenagers would say meddling), the fact I used the word meddling should tell you, maybe not as cool as I would like to think. I am a lover of reggae and Soca music, and my favorite color is purple. My Ultimate book pet peeve would be that I have not discovered many romance stories with characters 40 and over.
